SIGNED AGREEMENT ON FRIENDSHIP AND COOPERATION WITH THE LIBERAL GRAND LODGE OF TURKEY

The conference of the Masonic Union of the Balkans was held from October 25 to 27, 2024 in Istanbul, Turkey. The Liberal Grand Lodge of Serbia was represented by M:.W:. Vladimir Marković, Grand Master of LGLS, who spoke at the MUB Colloquium on October 25 about freemasonry in the Balkans, its importance and perspectives. On October 26, a special ritual work of the Liberal Grand Lodge of Turkey was held at which an Agreement on friendship and cooperation was signed between the Liberal Grand Lodge of Turkey and the Liberal Grand Lodge of Serbia. On behalf of LGLT, the contract was signed by M:.W:. Brother Sinan Tansug, Grand Master LGLT, and from LGLS side the signatory was M:W:. Brother Vladimir Marković, Grand Master LGLS. After the work, a Solemn Republican Ball was held in honor of the holiday of the Republic of Turkey, which was attended by Brothers and Sisters from Turkey and many foreign denominations. On October 27, a session of the Main Board of the MUB was held where current issues were discussed and conclusions and guidelines for further work were made. It was also decided that the 2026 MUB Annual Conference will be held in Belgrade.
